Sacred Spark: Echoes of Diksha

“Taro ogho kevo pyaro pyaro…”
Fifty days have breezed by like a gentle gust, yet the melody of Diksha still echoes in everyone’s hearts and ears. It’s as if time has paused, preserving that sacred moment in a frame of devotion.
The Diksha event remains vividly alive and fresh in everyone’s mind—a landmark impression that refuses to fade. June 8 at Manas Mandir was not just a date; it was an awakening. The Diksha occasion stamped a profound memory in the minds of all who witnessed it.
Ever since Munirajshree Rushihemvijayji adorned the heroic garbs of a monk, a remarkable transformation has unfolded. His happiness and peace of mind have only grown stronger with each passing day.
In a very short span, he has become fully acquainted with the austere yet blissful lifestyle of a Jain muni.
Right from the beginning, Munirajshree Rushihemvijayji has embarked on the brave path of penance. With deep contentment in his heart, he observes the intense austerities of Ekasana and Ayanbil—having only one meal a day, free from vegetables, fruits, spices, and dairy products.
He is currently immersed in studying the brain-teasing Sanskrit poem, HirSaubhagya—a descriptive epic revolving around the super-elegant Hirsooreeshwarjee Maharaja. This rigorous text not only demands scholarly prowess over Sanskrit but also nurtures spiritual insight.
As part of his intellectual and spiritual growth, he is also engaged in the study of Trishashti Shalaka Purush Charitra – Part 10, the inspiring life story of our beloved Bhagwan Shree Mahaveer Swami.
Monastic life is a path of desirelessness, and on the other hand, following God’s commandments within the innate desire to know the sacred and pious conduct.
To understand the sacred and pious conduct of a monk, Munirajshree Rushihenmvijayji has been reading the revered scripture ‘Dharmasangrah’, which illuminates the ideals of monastic life and spiritual discipline.
To keep one's morale and spiritual energy high, he is also immersed in the study of ‘Gnan Manjari’, an insightful commentary on Gnyansaar. With heartfelt devotion, he listens to the soul-stirring sermons of Pujya Prem Sunder Sureeshwarji Maharaj Saheb.
What’s even more inspiring is that—despite being a new student of monastic discipline—he has already begun teaching Sanskrit to two eager seekers.
Yes, in the very first month of Diksha, he has transitioned into a teacher, reflecting the deep inner clarity and purpose that this life path has offered him.
When Munirajshree Rushihemvijayji recites Stavans—devotional songs during Pratikraman—in his cuckoo-sweet, melodious voice, the atmosphere becomes ethereal. Everyone gets so enchanted, it's as if the entire gathering slips into a deep trance of devotion.
Under the loving and caring tutelage of the erudite scholar Aacharya Jaysundersureeshwarji M.S., Munirajshree is experiencing a spiritually passionate monsoon—his very first—at Irla, Andheri, Mumbai.
With no traces of arrogance, he is joyfully serving his charismatic Gurudev, Pannyas Viragratna M.S., with unwavering dedication and humility.
Possessing a down-to-earth personality and a forever-smiling face, he has captured the hearts of everyone around him—including his fellow co-monks. His presence radiates sincerity, making him a living example of grace in renunciation.
Let’s wish him a delightful and progressive path ahead.
